The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is appealing to donors in North Tipp to attend a vital clinic early next week.
This is especially important as due to the way the holidays fall this year 45 of the usual scheduled clinics will not be held.

Demand for blood continues to rise, with an 8% increase in requests compared to last year.
The Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh will host a clinic on Monday next with Alex O’Connor from the IBTS saying donations are vital at this time of the year.
It will run from 1.50pm to 5.10pm – all clinic appointments can be made on 1800 222 111.
