505 admitted patients are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this afternoon.

The INMO says 99 of these are being cared for at University Hospital Limerick making it the most overcrowded.

It’s followed by Cork University Hospital with 60.

The nursing union reports 12 people on trolleys at TUH in Clonmel while there are no overcrowding issues at Nenagh Hospital today.
