94 patients without a bed at UHL

More than 20% of patients being cared for on trolleys in Irish hospitals today are at UHL.

The hospital which covers North Tipp, Limerick and Clare has 94 people waiting for a bed according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

Nationally the figure is 440 with University Hospital Galway the next most overcrowded at 40.

The INMO report no issues at TUH in Clonmel or Nenagh Hospital.
