University Hospital Limerick once again has more than twice as many patients being cared for on trolleys as the next most overcrowded medical facility in the country.
Front line staff at the hospital which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare have 88 people without a bed.

This compared with 39 at Tallaght University Hospital.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are no beds today for 5 patients who have been admitted to Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel while there are no overcrowding issues at Nenagh General.
Nationally there are 428 people being cared for on trolleys with UHL accounting for 20% of them.
