There’s been an increase in the number of people waiting for a bed in Irish hospitals over the last 24 hours.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 458 patients being cared for on trolleys across the country today – up from 400 on Monday.

The figures at UHL which covers North Tipp have gone from 76 to 86 while there are no beds for 2 people who have been admitted to TUH in Clonmel.
