There are over 500 people on trolleys in hospitals across Ireland today.
According to INMO’s Trolley Watch figures, Cork University Hospital has the most people waiting for a bed at 80.
UHL, which serves North Tipp, Clare and Limerick, has recorded 60 people on trolleys today.
Locally, TUH in Clonmel has 15 people in the emergency department waiting for a hospital bed.
