Frontline staff at University Hospital Limerick are caring for 79 people on trolleys today.
They are among 440 left without a bed having been admitted to hospitals across the country.

The Dooradoyle medical facility which covers North Tipp is once again the most overcrowded in the country
It’s followed by Cork University Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda which both have 33 patients on trolleys.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reports 7 patients without a bed at TUH in Clonmel while there are no overcrowding issues at Nenagh Hospital today.
