366 patients treated on trolleys so far this week at UHL

571 patients who have been admitted to hospitals around the country today are on trolleys.

The INMO says University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp – accounts for the largest number of those, with 112.

Since Monday frontline staff at UHL have had to care for 366 people on trolleys.

17 people are without a bed at TUH in Clonmel today while the nursing union reports no overcrowding issues at Nenagh General.
