112 patients are being cared for on trolleys at the two main hospitals serving Tipperary today.
That’s just over 20% of the 546 in total that are without a bed across the country.
University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded facility – with 76 patients in need of a bed.
While there are 36 people on trolleys in South Tipp General in Clonmel.
