University Hospital Limerick accounts for one in five of the people waiting for a bed at hospitals across the nation today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation the facility which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare has 104 patients being cared for on trolleys.

The Dooradoyle hospital has seen an increase in number each day this week starting out with 84 on Monday and 95 yesterday.
Nationally there are no beds today for 506 people who have been admitted hospital.
TUH in Clonmel has 7 patients on trolleys.
