503 people who have been admitted to Irish hospitals are waiting for beds today.
According to the INMO one fifth of these are being cared for on trolleys at UHL.

The hospital which serves North Tipp has 106 patients without a bed – 46 more than the next most overcrowded which is University Hospital Galway.
There are no overcrowding issues at Nenagh General today while there are two patients on trolleys at TUH in Clonmel.
