462 admitted patients are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country today.
According to the INMO 101 of these are at University Hospital Limerick which means the facility serving North Tipp, Limerick and Clare accounts for more than 20% of the national figure.

That’s followed by Cork University Hospital with 52.
TUH in Clonmel has 14 people on trolleys while there is one person without a bed at Nenagh Hospital.
