180 patients being treated on trolleys in Irish hospitals today

The number of patients without a bed at University Hospital Limerick remains high today.

According to latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 46 people being treated on trolleys today at the hospital which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare.

This accounts for a quarter of all the people who have been admitted to hospital but are without a bed today.
