Almost 700 people are waiting for a bed at Irish hospitals today.
The vast majority of these are at University Hospital Limerick – the facility which covers North Tipp, Limerick and Clare has 107 patients on trolleys.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is reporting 15 people without a bed at TUH in Clonmel with another 8 at Nenagh Hospital which is catering for the overflow from UHL.
