More than a quarter of hospital patients without a bed in Ireland today are being cared for at UHL in Limerick.
105 people who have been admitted to the facility which covers North Tipp are on trolleys according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

That’s more than double the next most overcrowded which is University Hospital Galway with 48.
Nationally the figure is 403 while the number on trolleys at TUH in Clonmel is 8 today.
