One in every four patients without a hospital bed in Ireland today is being cared for at University Hospital Limerick.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are no beds for 426 people who have been admitted to hospitals across the country.

By far the most overcrowded is UHL which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare with 105 patients on trolleys.
This is followed by University Hospital Galway which has 44 people waiting for a bed.
TUH in Clonmel has 7 patients on trolleys today.
