1 in 4 patients without a bed today are in UHL

290 patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.

More than a quarter of these are being cared for at University Hospital Limerick

According to the INMO there are 76 people without a bed at the hospital which covers North Tipp.

That’s almost four times the next most overcrowded facility which is Cork University Hospital where there are 20 patients on trolleys.

TUH in Clonmel has 5 people without a bed today.
