The Kantar Millward Brown poll in today's Sunday Independent comes as pressure builds for Enda Kenny to set out a timeline for his departure – with Leo Varadkar calling the current situation distracting and destabilising for the Government.

It shows Fianna Fáil is up 6 points to 33 percent –  an 8 point lead on Fine Gael.

Sinn Féin's is 20 percent, Labour's dropped 2 to 6 percent, and the Greens are unchanged on 2 percent.

The Independent Alliance stays on 5 percent – other independents drop 2 to 4 percent – the Social Democrats are up 1 to 2 percent – and the AAA-PBP are up 1 to 3 percent.

Sunday Independent Political Correspondent Philip Ryan says the poll's results are unlikely to be pleasant reading for Enda Kenny.
