Good news for Tipp householders waiting for council to take charge of estates

There’s some good news for Tipperary householders waiting for their estates to be taken in charge by the council.

A new senior engineer has been appointed to the county council with the sole focus on delays in the process – James Murray will work within a team in the planning department to help speed up the process.

There are dozens of estates across The Premier which have issues with services like lighting and water which can only be addressed when the come under the local authority’s remit.

Senior planning official Brian Beck feels the new set up is already showing results.
