Gardai issue travel advice for Tipp Hurling Fans

Thousands of supporters will be taking to the road today and early tomorrow to go to the big game, with long delays expected on the N7 on the outskirts of Dublin. 

Dublin City Council are advising those travelling by car that they can park in eight city centre car parks for 4 euro for the day with a match ticket while there are also park and ride facilities available for the Luas.

Superintendent Kevin Gralton says that roadworks at Newland's Cross will add further delays but there are ways to avoid the area.
