Gardai in Tipperary are investigating a burglary and theft in the Thurles area in the past 48 hours.
Meanwhile eight people have been arrested for public order offences across the Tipperay region.
Five of the offences were commited in Thurles, two in Nenagh and one in Tippeary town.
Gardai in Clonmel are also investigating an assault in the town and two people have been arrested fro drink driving in Clonmel and Tipperary town.
