A hardware shop in the South Tipp village was broken into by a number of suspects, the front window of the business was smashed and several items taken, including power tools.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the village overnight to contact them.

It's believed there may be two or three people involved, Gardaí say they left the scene in an unknown vehicle.
