Gardaí are investigating incidents of joyriding and damage to a number of vehicles in West Tipp and East Limerick over the weekend.
A car was spotted doing donuts in the Glen of Aherlow area in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardaí from Tipp Town gave chase in the direction of Galbally.
The car – a northern Ireland registered Lexus – was eventually found abandoned in the Ballylanders area.
It’s understood a number of cars which were parked in the Square in Galbally were struck by the car as it passed through the village.
No arrests have been made as yet – the investigation is continuing.
