Tipperary motorists are being urged to make sure this Bank Holiday weekend is a safe one on the roads.

Four people have lost their lives in the county already this year.

Gardai will once again be out in force across the Premier County this Bank Holiday weekend setting up Mandatory Intoxicant Testing Checkpoints for drink and drug driving.

Inspector Eddie Golden of Cahir Garda stations says each and every one of us needs to take responsibility for our behaviour on the roads.
