Andrew Freaney of Elm Park in the town denies kicking Garda Helena Power in the face during an incident at a Halloween bonfire in 2008.

The 24 year old admitted in court yesterday that the Garda Ombudsman had found no basis to his complaint of being beaten in Clonmel Garda station following his arrest.
