Gardaí have seized a number of cars in North Tipperary for a variety of offences.
Officers were conducting checkpoints in Nenagh and Roscrea yesterday during which four vehicles impounded.

Among the offences recorded were no insurance and Learner Permit holders driving unaccompanied.
Tickets were issued and Court appearances will follow for some of the motorists.
