A man has been arrested following a series of incidents in Thurles overnight.
In what appears to have been random acts of vandalism damage was caused to at least four businesses in the town at around 3am.

It’s understood a sledge hammer was used to break windows at shops on Liberty Square and Parnell Street.
A local man is currently in custody at Thurles Garda station in connection with the incidents.
