Gardaí have raided a property in Tipperary Town this morning.
They were assisted by the Armed Support Unit, the Dog Unit and members of the Defence Forces in the operation – as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent disorder incident that occurred in December.
During the search of a property in the Rosanna Road area – drug paraphernalia, cannabis herb worth approximately €1,000 and several weapons were seized.
Two men, one in his late teens and the other in his forties, were arrested and detained at a Garda Station in the county.
Both have since been charged in connection with the investigation and are scheduled to appear before Ennis District Court tomorrow morning.
Separately, a woman in her thirties was also arrested on foot of a bench warrant and will be brought before the Criminal Courts of Justice.
Investigations are continuing.
