Gardaí investigating an incident in West Tipp are appealing for the owner of a white Volkswagen car to get in touch.
On the afternoon of Tuesday July 30th a sum of cash was taken from a car parked in the Dundrum area.
The VW was spotted acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
Sgt Joe Reville says Gardaí in Tipp Town would like to hear from anyone with information.
“Between 2 and 2.30pm on the 30th of July in Dundrum a small amount of cash was taken from a vehicle. A small while Volkswagen was seen suspiciously in the area at the time – it may have been involved, it may not have been involved but Gardaí are looking for any information in respect of that.
“Maybe someone witnessed the people in the car up to something or maybe they witnessed something else that can help us.
“Or indeed if you were driving the small white Volkswagen car we can eliminate you from our enquiries if you want to come forward.
“It’s being investigated by Tipperary Town Garda station to if you want to contact there.”
