Gardaí are investigating a break-in to a veterinary clinic in North Tipp earlier this week.
A man gained access through a window to the Mulcaire clinic in Newport in the early hours of last Monday morning.
A quantity of Ivomec worming dose was stolen during the break-in.
Tipperary Crime Prevention officer Sergeant John McCormack says the suspect was seen on CCTV.
“He filled a bag with Ivomec Super – its considered one of the leaders as an animal worming dose. The important thing about this product is it is not suitable for horses.
“A considerable quantity of it was taken and we’re really looking if anybody comes…its somebody in the farming sector, the agricultural sector, that’s going to be offered this.”
