Clonmel Gardaí have reissued an appeal for information into an incident on the banks of the River Suir.
An elderly man was on the Blueway near Carey’s Slip on the evening of Wednesday May 7th.

Sgt Carol O’Leary says what appears to have been an unprovoked attack has left the man quite shaken.
“He was pushed into the water by a young male who was wearing a green t-shirt. That young person then left on a dark coloured sulkey.
“If you were in the area – if you have dashcam or CCTV – the 7th of May so it was after the bank holiday.”
