Investigations are underway into an arson attack in Clonmel.
A person was observed in the early hours of last Thursday morning trying to set a car alight.

Sgt Carol O’Leary outlined what happened on Tipp Today earlier.
“In the Glenconnor area of Clonmel on the 1st of May around 4 o’clock in the morning. A car was parked outside the owners address – CCTV has been viewed initially and a man can be seen pouring petrol on the tyres of the vehicle and then setting the tyres alight so quite a serious incident.
“So if you have dashcam of CCTV footage from around the Glenconnor area – anything unusual – please share it with the Gardaí in Clonmel.”
