Gardaí investigating a recent spate of criminal damage in Carrick on Suir and Clonmel have made an arrest.
The incidents happened in the Collins Park and Marian Avenue areas of Carrick on Suir and on the Heywood Road and Thomas Street in Clonmel.

Damage was caused to a number of vehicles.
Sgt John McCormack says investigating officers have made progress in the case.
“A male in his 20s has been arrested and detained in relation to that.
“So if I can make an appeal to anybody else in the Carrick or Clonmel area who has damage caused to their cars who hasn’t it reported yet that maybe they might drop into Clonmel or Carrick Garda station and report that.
“And we’d like to thank the people for their help and their assistance as well.”
