The theft of a custom made car transporter is being investigated by Gardaí in Nenagh.

It was stolen from a field at Lismore, Toomevara sometime between midnight and 7pm on Thursday July 18th.

Sgt Carol O’Leary says the trailer is quite distinctive.

“There was a dark coloured jeep seen in the area on the evening of Wednesday of last week, the 17th July.

“What’s unique is there’s no make or model (on the trailer) – it’s a home-made one. It’s a double-axle trailer with two silver wheels on the rear and two yellow wheels on the front so that in itself is quite distinctive. It also has yellow steel ramps and its missing the complete mudguard on the right side of the trailer.

“We’re hoping that somebody saw it being moved or transported or if you’ve seen it parked up somewhere since please let us know.”

Any information can be given to Nenagh Gardaí on 067 50450.
