Appeal for witnesses to stone attack on vehicles on M7

Over a dozen heavy goods vehicles and busses were damaged by stone throwing youths in the Birdhill area last evening.

Thankfully no one was injured in what could have been a very serious incident as some of the trucks had their windscreens smashed forcing the drivers to pull onto the hard shoulder of the M7.

No arrests have been made as yet.

Gardaí in Nenagh are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 067 50450 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
