Some of today's event swere organised by the 'We Wont Pay Campaign', and were originally planned to coincide with the deadline for the registration of water charges.
However, despite the government announcement of an extension to the deadline for registration – organisers say today's protests will continue.

Today's protest in Clonmel has been organised by Right2Water and will get underway from The Main Guard at 2 pm.
