A planned air ambulance service for Munster is said to have the ability to save countless lives.
A major fundraising drive is underway to get the project off the ground.

2 million euro will be needed for the service which will provide fast access to advanced clinical interventions at the roadside by highly trained pre-hospital emergency care physicians.
The service would initially be based at Cork airport.
However speaking on Tipp Today co-founder of the Irish Community Air Ambulance John Kearney said they would ultimately aim to locate in or near Tipperary.
