Irish Water has confirmed funding of €1.2 million for a 5.5 kilometre section of what’s being described as the ‘final piece of the jigsaw’ for the Fethard Regional Water Supply.

Work has been ongoing for several months on the rest of the Fethard scheme which has been blighted by water outages for many years due to the aging pipe network.
