Funding for disability groups in Tipperary.

Deputy Noel Coonan has welcomed the announcement of funding for disability groups in Tipperary.

Beneficeries include Daughters of Charity, St Annes Centre, Roscrea who received €1,200 towards the cost of funding a 12 week art course and €2,000 for equipment for eight people with an Intellectual Disability.

Aras Mhuire Day Care Centre in Nenagh has received €17,500 towards the cost of installing solar panels and the Irish Wheelchair Association in Hannon House, Roscrea received €4,300.

Meanwhile The Journeyman Programme in Carrick-on-Suir has been allocated €8,800 towards the cost of completing the final stage of Community Garden Project.
