Funding approved for Nenagh club

A Nenagh club is to benefit from some much needed grant aid.

Minister of State Alan Kelly has confirmed funding of €25,000 is to go to St. Paul's Boxing Club in Nenagh.
The money will go towards renovating and improving the club facilities.

Alan Kelly praised the work of boxing clubs which provide a great service for young people and adults alike.

The allocation for St Paul's in Nenagh follows on from a similar announcement for Thurles Boxing Club recently.
