The grants have been announced by the Heritage Minister and 196 projects nationwide are set to benefit.
Here in Tipperary they include Carrick-on-Suir Library Urban Wildlife Garden 2017 which receives €1,500; The Commons Past and Present which also receives €1,500; Repair of windows to a John Nash designed hunting lodge – the Mountain Lodge in Burncourt which gets €6,000.
And South Tipperary Beekeepers Association is to receive €2,000 for its Pollinator Education programme which young adults to take on the responsibility of safeguarding our bee and pollinator population.
