Tipperary is to benefit from funding to deliver recreation facilities on Coillte lands including walking trails, carparks and toilet facilities.
It’s part of an extra €3 million national allocation announced by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys.
€40,000 of this will go towards car park improvement works at Marl Bog in Dundrum.
Another €12,000 will be spent on a new footbridge for walking trail users at Glengarra Wood near Cahir.
