Funding approved for health promotion in Tipperary

Tipperary County Council are set to get a substantial injection of funding for community based and national health promotional activities in the county.

Tipperary Local Community Development Committee and Tipperary Children and Young People’s Service Committee has been successful in receiving just under 140 thousand euro in funding from Healthy Ireland.

Activities will aim to inform the Premier county on healthy living and raise awareness on smoking, healthy eating , active living , LGBTI issues and sexual health.
