As an incentive to encourage people to shop local and support the businesses in their town, there will be free parking in the council car parks in Carrick-on-Suir starting today.
The free parking will run every Saturday in the lead up to Christmas, today, and on December 7th, 14th and 21st.
This offer only extends to the council car parks and does not include on-street parking.
