Members of Thurles Gardaí along with the Regional Support Unit, the drugs unit, Traffic Corps and the dog unit are involved in the raids which are part of Operation Thor, targeting burglaries across the country.
A number of searches have been carried out since early this morning, property has been seized and at least four arrests have been made…while Gardaí are also at the shopping centres in Thurles and Templemore and at the mart.

Sergeant Tom O'Dwyer of Thurles Garda Station says the operation will go on for most of the day.
