Former Tipp hurler to abseil down Croke Park

A former Tipperary inter-county hurler will abseil from the top of the Hogan Stand in Croke Park tomorrow.

John Ryan is taking on the challenge to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

His family has been touched by the condition as his Dad Tommy suffers from the degenerative disease.

John says he’s looking forward to the 100 foot drop tomorrow.
