Fluoridation research backed by Tipp County Councillors

It follows independent research carried out into the positive and negative impacts on the population's health and the general environment by the addition of fluoride to water.

While the report found no definitive link to ill health, it also states the current evidence in place is not strong enough to fully rule this out and calls for further research.

Thurles Councillor Jim Ryan believes it backs up his long held belief that fluoride must be taken out of the supply.
