Flooding across much of Tipperary.

Gardai are warning of poor driving conditions across County Tipperary due to flooding following heavy rain overnight and this morning.

Caution is being advised on the M8 both ways between Junction 7 Cashel North and Junction 15 Fermoy South.

There are reports that the Thurles to Rahealty road is impassable

The Templemore – Borrisoleigh road is also flooded as is the Clonmore road just outside Templemore.

Motorists are reporting that the Borrisokane to Ardcroney Road just outside Borrisokane is badly flooded as is the Shallee to Newport Road.

In Cahir Gardai are also warning of flooding inbound on the old N8 at Clonmore.

Meanwhile the M7 Dublin/Limerick Rd has now reopened northbound at J22 Roscrea following a collision.
