Surveys have been carried out on the N24 ahead of major works planned for the road in the coming months.

Cameras have been visible at a number of locations along the road in recent days leading some drivers to wonder if they were being used for speed detection.

However this is not the case as Director of Services with Tipp County Council Marcus O’Connor explains.

Marcus O’Connor says the project will take a few months to complete once it gets underway.
