Clonmel will be putting its best foot forward in just over a month’s time as the judges from the Entente Florale competition arrive in the town.
Entente Florale is a European competition for Towns and Villages with each participating country putting forward a representative for both categories.
This year Clonmel and Abbeyshrule are flying the flag for Ireland.
The aim of the competition is the improvement of the quality of life for local urban and village communities.
Mayor of Clonmel Billy Shoer is encouraging people to do their bit as judging day approaches.
